Delivery and Pickup Policy
1. principle
The punctual provision of goods and the associated reliable supply of customers has always been of great importance and will become even more so as a result of constantly growing competitive pressure.
The quality of logistics has therefore always determined competitiveness and is increasingly becoming a key success factor.
Against this background, the constantly increasing demands require a continuous improvement of the processes and the partnership-based cooperation between Alfred Neudert GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Neudert) and the delivering or collecting companies or transport companies.
In order to ensure smooth and safe operation, it is imperative that the specifications are adhered to. The following delivery specifications are binding as supplementary agreements to our general terms and conditions (AGB, BGB, HGB, ADSp).
2. scope of application
Applicable to the Neudert company premises.

3. general information
3.1 Company language
The company language and the business language at Neudert is German. The documentation carried out by the transport company and all negotiations are written or conducted in German.
Signs and boards on the company premises are written in German. All Neudert employees communicate exclusively in German. This avoids possible discrimination against other groups. Everyone is measured by the same standards and communicates in the same language.
The employees employed by the transport company are able to read and understand signs and boards on the company premises. The carriers can communicate with Neudert's employees within the required framework. This is the only way to ensure the smooth movement of goods.
When a transport company trains a new employee, we are happy to provide support by communicating with these employees on an agreed basis in accordance with our rules. No one should be disadvantaged here, everyone can be a valued member of our company.
3.2 Applicable law
This agreement shall be governed exclusively by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
3.3 Place of jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction for all legal disputes arising from this agreement is, as far as permissible, Würzburg.
4. acceptance of goods (the transport company delivers goods)
4.1 Goods acceptance times
The following binding delivery times apply:
Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 9:00, 9:15 - 12:00 and 12:45 - 17:00
4.2 Goods receiving area
The goods receiving area is located in the right rear hall. There is a sign at the gate saying ‘Goods Receiving’ and a bell to ring. The entrance (door) is around the corner to the right
4.3 Procedure if the incoming goods department is not staffed
Someone is always available at Neudert during the specified goods receiving times.
If the goods receiving department is not staffed, please go to the dispatch department via the courtyard. There is also a bell there that you can ring. In the unlikely event that no one answers here, please go to the main entrance. The ‘visitor bell’ is located in the foyer in front of the glass door.
4.4 Authorised persons
Neudert employees can be identified by the fact that they are wearing a grey Neudert shirt and have a blue transponder.
Only Neudert employees are authorised to accept shipments. At the request of the carrier, every employee is happy to identify themselves with their shirt and transponder. Persons who only have the grey shirt or only the blue transponder or neither are not employees of Neudert.
All other persons, whether inside or outside the company premises, even if they claim to be Neudert employees, may not receive any goods from the transport company. In this case, the shipment is considered ‘not delivered’ and it is still the responsibility of the transport company to deliver this shipment to Neudert on time
4.5 Documentation of the receipt of goods
The transport company has document-based procedures for documenting the delivery. It does not matter whether this process is computerised or manual.
The obligation to provide proof of receipt of goods by Neudert is the responsibility of the transport company. The receipt of each consignment must be documented by the name of the person receiving it from Neudert. If the consignment has not been accepted by one of the authorised persons available (4.4), the consignment is considered ‘Not delivered’ and it is still the responsibility of the transport company to deliver this consignment to Neudert on time.
In addition, the carrier must enter his details in the ‘Delivery and collection table’ on display (see last page). Required information is: Date, name, vehicle number, transport company, collection or delivery. A delivery to Neudert has only taken place if an entry can be found on this list. Without this entry, the consignment is considered ‘Not delivered’ and it is still the responsibility of the transport company to deliver this consignment to Neudert on time.
5. dispatch (the transport company collects goods)
5.1 Shipping times
The following binding dispatch times apply:
Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 9:00, 9:15 - 12:00 and 12:45 - 18:00
5.2 Place of receipt of goods
The dispatch area is located in the main building to the right of the large main entrance. There is a double door with a bell to ring.
5.3 Procedure if the dispatch department is not staffed
Someone is always available at Neudert during the specified dispatch times.
If the dispatch department is not staffed, please go to the main entrance. The ‘visitor bell’ is located in the foyer in front of the glass door.
Please note: Especially after 4.00 pm, Neudert employees from other areas of the main building may run to the dispatch department. A little patience is sometimes an advantage here.
5.4 Authorised persons
Neudert employees can be identified by the fact that they are wearing a grey Neudert shirt and have a blue transponder.
Only Neudert employees are authorised to hand over consignments to a transport company. At the request of the carrier, each employee is happy to identify themselves with their shirt and transponder. Persons who only have the grey shirt or only the blue transponder or neither are not employees of Neudert.
The transport company may not accept Neudert shipments from any other persons, whether inside or outside the company premises, even if they claim to be Neudert employees. This shipment is then the responsibility of the transport company and not of Neudert.
5.5 Documentation of the shipment (handover of goods to the transport company)
Neudert uses the documents provided by the transport company to document the collection. If a transport company has no documentation (e.g. courier trips or taxi journeys), Neudert prepares its own document. Each consignment is receipted in accordance with the documents provided by the transport company.
Neudert is responsible for proving the handover of goods from Neudert to the transport company.
If a transport company has accepted a consignment from a person who is not from Neudert, but who has claimed to be (5.4), the responsibility for this consignment lies with the transport company and not with Neudert.
The subsequent documentation of the transport and delivery of the consignment to the recipient is the responsibility of the transport company. As part of the obligation to provide evidence, this documentation can be made available by Neudert on request (tracking, etc.).
In addition, the carrier shall enter himself in the ‘Delivery and collection table’ on display (see last page). Required information is: Date, name, vehicle number, transport company, collection or delivery. A collection from Neudert has only taken place if an entry can be found on this list. Without this entry, a consignment is obviously not from Neudert and the responsibility for this consignment lies with the transport company and not Neudert.
Please note:
- Goods receiving and dispatch are located a few metres apart above the yard.
- We reserve the right to redirect consignments within the two locations.
6 Transport damage/acceptance of goods
The transport company must ensure in every respect that the transported goods reach their destination in proper condition
If goods are delivered damaged, Neudert reserves the right to refuse acceptance at the expense of the transport company
the consignments are accepted subject to subsequent quality and quantity checks
only the number of delivered packages (colli, pallets, parcels, etc.) is acknowledged to the carrier
the quality and quantity of the incoming goods are subsequently checked on the basis of the delivery note
the carrier must confirm obvious defects in the packaging and quantity deviations in the packages on the documentation
Concealed transport damage that is not recognisable on receipt of the goods is reported to the transport company for settlement within a maximum of 2 working days
7. exchange of pallets and loading aids
In general, Neudert will immediately exchange Euro pallets. Only Euro pallets that are exchangeable (see ‘EPAL Quality Classification’ Class A & Class B, conditionally also Class C) are exchanged, all other inferior or damaged pallets are not exchanged. However, Neudert accepts these and disposes of them as an act of goodwill, without the transport company incurring any costs.

If the pallets are not exchanged immediately, the pallet credit balances must be documented. At Neudert's request, the transport company will state the amount of the credit account. It is Neudert's responsibility to claim this credit, the transport company then delivers the Euro pallets in an appropriate time.
Notable special or returnable containers must be noted on the delivery notes and explicitly reported upon receipt of the goods.
8. environmental protection
In order to protect the environment and for the benefit of our neighbours, every stopped or parked vehicle will be displayed in the yard. The key of the vehicle must be removed from the driver.
Vehicles must be in a reasonable condition. No liquids or gases such as oils etc. that have no business outside the vehicle may escape.
In the interests of the environment, everyone will understand that Neudert would inform the transport company immediately if a case of environmental pollution such as oil stains on the floor etc. occurs. The polluter is then given 24 hours to rectify the damage.
After this time, Neudert will file a report in the interests of our environment and rectify the damage itself as quickly as possible. In the event of major damage, the costs incurred will be passed on to the polluter in full. In the case of minor damage that Neudert can repair itself, Neudert reserves the right to charge the polluter an expense allowance of €70 per hour.
9. safety
For reasons of occupational safety, the wearing of safety shoes is mandatory for all carriers on Neudert's premises.
The vehicles of the transport company are in a roadworthy condition and comply with the rules of the StVO. This means, for example, that the lights work, the tread depth of the tyres is above the wear limit, appropriate winter tyres are used in winter months, TÜV and AU are in order, etc.
Neudert reserves the right to inspect the vehicle upon receipt of goods or dispatch and, if necessary, to reject this vehicle upon dispatch. The transport company will be informed at short notice and has the opportunity to remedy the situation accordingly.
10 Special agreements
Special agreements deviating from these delivery and collection guidelines must always be agreed in advance with the responsible Neudert employees and set out in writing.
11. non-compliance with the delivery guidelines
In the event of non-compliance with the above guidelines, Neudert reserves the right to inform the transport company of the recognised defect.
In the event of recurrence, everyone will certainly understand that Neudert will charge the transport company responsible for the search, rearrangement, repacking, identification or labelling, etc. in the amount of € 40 per hour.
12. work without delivery guidelines
Neudert allows itself to identify the transport companies with which a good and constructive cooperation can be sealed on this basis as ‘partner companies for transport’ on the correspondence and to refer to the high quality and reliability of these companies.
Shipments that are carried out with other companies are not the responsibility of Neudert. The client bears full responsibility for smooth transport. Any costs incurred will be charged in full to the Client or the transport company responsible.
13 Validity
These guidelines are binding for all transport companies and self-deliverers of Neudert from February 2018.
All previous versions are therefore no longer valid.
Neudert requests that these guidelines are observed and implemented.
